About
An independent guide for visitors to the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela. It is not run by any government body. Photos are from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons.
Who we are
Kumbh Yatra Nashik is an independent, free guide for pilgrims and travellers heading to the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela (2026–2028). It was created to put dates, temples, places to stay, food, travel and safety advice in one place, in English, Hindi and Marathi.
What we cover
Temples and ghats, hotels and dharamshalas, local food, day trips, festivals and rituals, shopping, travel options, packing and safety. Each page explains what a place is, why it matters, how long to allow and what to know before you go. Our blog adds practical articles and itineraries.
How we work
We research from public sources such as Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, official administration notices and local knowledge. We link to Google Maps, Google Hotels and official sites so that you can check live prices, photographs and reviews yourself. We do not accept payment to rank a hotel or restaurant higher. Read our Editorial Policy for details.
How the site is funded
The site may show advertisements to cover hosting and upkeep. Ads never decide what we write. See our Disclaimer for details.
