Saptashrungi Devi

A famous Goddess shrine on a seven-peaked hill near Vani.

Saptashrungi Gad is a hill with seven peaks near Vani. The Goddess Saptashrungi Nivasini is worshipped in a rock-carved shrine reached by steps (a ropeway is also available). It is counted among the three-and-a-half Shakti Peethas of Maharashtra and draws huge crowds during Navratri.

It is a long day trip from Nashik, so start early and carry water.
