Sabudana Khichdi
The popular fasting (vrat) dish of sago, peanuts and potato.
Sabudana khichdi is a light dish of soaked sago pearls cooked with crushed peanuts, potato and cumin. It is eaten on fasting days such as Mondays, Ekadashi and Mahashivratri, so you will find it on most temple-area menus.
